Call Me Queen Stage Play
After the publication of “Call Me Queen®,” “Call Me Queen®, the stage play” was written, produced, directed by Cyrene herself. The one woman play debuted at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre July, 2017. Cyrene performed each of the seven characters from the book, allowing them to come to life and show their own distinct personalities. The play was also featured in the NY Winterfest Theater Festival January, 2019 and The United Solo Theatre Festival November, 2023.
50in50
Cyrene’s original poetic monologue was featured in the stage production “50in50” at the Billie Holiday Theatre, March 2018. This theater production was a collective effort of 50 female playwrights from across the country speaking of their journey in the nationally known “Me Too Movement.” It was an honor to be featured along with so many prestigious women with the talented female produced cast.
I Don’t Think I Do
“I Don’t Think I Do, the stage play” debuted at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre in New York City June, 2018. This off-off Broadway production featured a cast of talented actors Justin P. Armstrong, Audra Morales, Melvin J. Cox, and Cyrene herself. Written, produced and directed by Cyrene. This light hearted and witty performance surely captivates audiences.
